UCLA: Bruin Giving Day

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) approached Gardner Design to develop an identity for their annual fundraising event, Bruin Giving Day. Named after their iconic mascot, the university sought a brand that features the beloved bear, but breathes new life into their messaging that had historically lacked a sense of excitement and energy. The refreshed visual language captures the vibrant diversity of the Los Angeles community and the myriad of backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations each student brings to the campus. 2025's "You Seize the Day" campaign looks toward the future and empowers donors to contribute to the breakthrough research and progressive change that UCLA strives to bring to the international stage.
