UCLA: Bruin Giving DayGardner Design, 2025 The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) engaged Gardner Design to create a new visual identity for its annual fundraising event, Bruin Giving Day. Named after the university’s iconic mascot, the initiative aimed to reinvigorate the event’s branding with a fresh, energetic tone—moving beyond past messaging that lacked excitement and engagement.

The new visual language celebrates the vibrant diversity of the Los Angeles community and reflects the unique backgrounds, experiences, and ambitions that UCLA students bring to campus. The 2025 campaign, "You Seize the Day," looked confidently toward the future, inspiring donors to support the groundbreaking research and progressive change UCLA champions on a global scale. The campaign resulted in 3,984 donations, totaling $2,268,451.
