EverfullGardner Design, 2024 Everfull is a nonprofit organization—and Meals on Wheels affiliate—dedicated to helping older Kansans live with dignity, connection, and vitality. Formerly known as Aging Projects Inc., Everfull provides both home-delivered and on-site meals while fostering meaningful social engagement for seniors. The organization’s mission extends beyond nutrition, aiming to nourish the whole person—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—through compassionate service and community connection.

At Gardner Design, I led the organization’s renaming, logo design, and full brand refresh. The new identity reflects the warmth, care, and enduring spirit that define both the volunteers and the seniors they serve.

Naming Exploration Previously known as Aging Projects Inc., the client felt that its name no longer reflected the organization’s mission or spirit. Seeking a more meaningful and resonant identity, the board engaged Gardner Design to explore new naming concepts that would better align with the nonprofit’s goals and personality. Under the creative direction of Bill Gardner, I led the development of the refreshed nomenclature. What follows is a condensed summary of our naming exploration.

Logo Refresh A quote about the cornucopia—describing the vessel as a symbol of "unending nourishment"—resonated strongly during my research, as it suggests a kind of sustenance beyond just food. The cornucopia, or “horn of plenty,” became the heart of the new visual identity, representing Everfull’s commitment to abundant care. Designed to subtly suggest a lowercase “e,” the icon also features wheat spilling forward, paying homage to Kansas’s agricultural heritage and Everfull’s role in serving the region’s aging population with generosity and pride.
